Buffalo Sabres: Forward Sam Carrick's recovery from a left arm injury means he will not be available for the start of the playoffs.

Dallas Stars: General Manager Jim Nill stated that forward Roope Hintz is not expected to return before the end of the regular season, and his readiness for Game 1 of the first round is uncertain. He remains week-to-week.
